Law Clerk (!ABA accredited JD only! Law Graduate or Student) Law Offices of Guvenc Acarkan, Esq. 101 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302 ! This Position is for JD Degree (ABA Accredited) Graduates or Students only ! Please do not apply if you do not pursue or do not have a JD Degree. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk (ABA accredited JD Law Graduate or Student) to join our legal practice that focuses on commercial litigation, family law, and . Candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, including research, drafting documents, and preparing for litigation. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in the legal field while contributing to meaningful work. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy. Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to assist in the development of legal arguments. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Assist attorneys in preparing for motion practice, trials and hearings by organizing case files and summarizing relevant information. Maintain case calendar. Skills Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail in written communication. Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures is advantageous.
