The New York office of McGuireWoods is seeking an Associate for their Financial Services & Securities Enforcement Department. McGuireWoods LLP seeks to identify an associate to join the Firm’s Securities Enforcement & Regulatory Counseling Practice Group in our NY office. Our Securities Enforcement & Regulatory Practice Group is a national leader in securities enforcement defense and broker-dealer and investment adviser regulatory counseling and routinely represents clients in matters before, among others, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and state securities regulators and attorneys general. This is an opportunity to work with a rapidly growing and nationally recognized practice. We offer a team that is cohesive, collegial, and focuses on long-term attorney development and success. Salary :

$260,000 – $380,000+

Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have 3-6 years of government investigations or regulatory enforcement or counseling experience in a first-tier law firm. Superb academic credentials and writing skills are required. Experience working within regulatory agencies or as a judicial law clerk is highly valued. NY bar admission is required.
