POSITION SUMMARY :
Research legal data for briefs and assist the judge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Search for and study legal records and documents to obtain data applicable to cases under consideration. Prepare rough drafts of briefs and memoranda recommending appropriate dispositions to the judge. Maintain documents files and correspondence relating to cases. Review the motions for appointment of masters in court proceedings. Attend court sessions, observe oral arguments of counsel; confer with judges on recent cases and decisions having a bearing on present pending cases. Perform similar or related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
