Applicants must complete a 19-week ACT 2 Deputy Sheriff Training Program at Pennsylvania State College.

• GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• AGE•: 21 years of age or older•

CITIZENSHIP

• : Must be a US citizen

• DRIVERS LICENSE

• Valid PA driver’s license and a clean driving record

• EDUCATION

• : HS diploma or equivalent

• PHYSICAL FITNESS

• : Must successfully perform the essential job functions

• PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION

• Must pass a thorough background investigation
• Tattoos on face, neck, or head are strictly prohibited
• Must possess proficient reading, writing and comprehension skills to prepare reports
