Testing & Selection Process:

Further Screening:

Oral Board Interview:

Only those who meet the Police Department’s minimum standards. CVSA Examination (Polygraph): Includes questions about your past criminal activity and drug use.

Background Investigation:

Includes criminal history, employment, education, and military service records.

Psychological Evaluation:

Assesses mental and emotional suitability.

Medical Examination:

Assesses your ability to perform the job.

Drug Testing:
