This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to protecting life and property, preventing crime, and upholding the principles of justice. You will engage with the community, respond to emergencies, and work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies to ensure a safe environment for all citizens. Responsibilities Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect criminal activity. Respond to emergency calls and incidents, providing assistance as needed. Conduct thorough investigations into crimes, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, arrests, and investigations. Enforce laws related to traffic violations, public safety, and criminal offenses. Engage in conflict management and resolution during disputes or emergencies. Collaborate with community members to foster trust and cooperation. Participate in ongoing training related to law enforcement practices and procedures. Requirements POST certification High school diploma or equivalent. Strong skills in report writing to document incidents accurately and comprehensively. Proven leadership abilities Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining composure under pressure. Experience in criminal investigation techniques is desirable. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate police vehicles safely. Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and responding quickly in emergencies.
