About the Position
•This is a time limited position• First level supervisor supervises employees/staff which enforces relevant laws to the agency’s jurisdiction. Work involves assisting in the supervision of staff, training, allocating work to staff, assigning tasks to accomplish work effectively and efficiently, and verifying written reports and documents of incidents are according to MDOC Policies and Procedures. Supervision at this level requires employees to have thorough knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.

Must be able to abide by the rules, regulations, and procedures governing the agency and operate in accordance with state and federal laws.
Preferred Qualifications
Requires possession of a State of Mississippi Law Enforcement Professional Certification, and 5-7 years of experience in law enforcement.
