Job Description
Refer Qualified Applicant To City of Greenville to complete Application for POLICE OFFICER-Participants are required to patrol an assigned area on foot or in a patrol car, checks premises for conditions indicating illegal activities and hazards; answers calls for assistance, investigate accidents, obtain evidence and statements, make arrests, escort prisoners taken into custody, renders first aid, and requests nedical attention for injured persons; direct traffic, issues cititations, maintain order at public gatherings and in emergency situations such as street directions and location of public facilities; testify in court may be assigned as a member of a detail to investigate homicides, burglaries, etc. serves criminal process, including warrants and subpoenas; and prepares records and reports.
