Police Officer Town of Center Harbor 36 Main Street, Center Harbor, NH 03226 The Town of Center Harbor, a small community located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, is seeking a dedicated community-oriented individual to serve as a full-time Police Officer. This position requires a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays. All department members split on call hours which requires officers to live either in town or in a nearby community. All officers enjoy the benefit of a take home cruiser. The Center Harbor Police Department is a progressive department that values training, officer development, a strong work life balance and enjoys a low turnover rate. This position will be offered to the right motivated individual along with a competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with experience. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, be a U.S. citizen and have excellent communication and writing skills. The testing portion of the hiring process includes: a physical agility test, oral board, medical examination, and psychological and polygraph examination. The Chief of Police reserves the right to waive certain portions of the testing phase for current New Hampshire certified police officers.
