Police Officer Position Available In Merrimack, New Hampshire

Police Officer Town of Chichester Police Department 22 Main Street, Chichester, NH 03258 The Chichester Police Department is currently accepting applications for a full time Police Officer. Preference will be afforded to those candidates already certified by the Police Standards Training Council for the State of NH., or whose out of state Police certifications are recognized by the NHPSTC. Candidates may be required to complete a physical agility test, oral board, polygraph, medical exam, psychological exam and an extensive background check. Full Time NH Certified Officer applicants are eligible for a $15,000, structured sign on bonus paid over 24 months. Out of state certified applicates are eligible for a $5,000. structured bonus. Salary is based on experience. Paid vacation, sick and personal time. Mandatory enrollment in NH retirement system. 11 paid Holidays. Medical, Dental and Life insurance available. Extra detail rate of $70.00 per hour. Candidates must be a US citizen, 21 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or GED. No criminal record and a valid drivers license. A college degree/military experience is preferred. Police Officers are responsible for responding to calls for service, conducting criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, and participating in various community policing initiatives. Our officers have the opportunity to work and resolve cases from start to finish and make long lasting community connections.
