JOB SUMMARY
Medical Malpractice Defense Associate – Hybrid (Hartford, CT) A leading Northeast law firm seeks a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney (1-6 years’ experience) for its growing Hartford practice. This hybrid role offers hands-on litigation experience with physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend healthcare clients in malpractice cases from intake through trial
- Draft motions, discovery requests, and dispositive pleadings
- Take and defend depositions of medical experts
- Prepare for arbitrations, mediations, and court appearances
- Conduct medical/legal research and analysis
Ideal Candidate:
JD + CT bar admission (or UBE transferable) 1-6 years’ med mal defense experience Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills Experience with expert witnesses preferred Judicial clerkship a plus Why This Role?
