Job Details Position Overview:
We are seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney tojoin our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have 5-15years of substantial experience in handling complex commerciallitigation matters. As a senior member of our firm, you will play akey role in providing strategic guidance, managing cases, andrepresenting clients in various commercial disputes.
Responsibilities:
1.
Case Management:
Manage a diverse caseload ofcomplex commercial litigation matters, including but not limited tobreach of contract disputes, business torts, intellectual propertydisputes, and corporate litigation. 2.
Legal Strategy:
Develop andimplement effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomesfor clients, including conducting legal research, analyzing caselaw, and advising clients on their rights and options. 3.
ClientRepresentation:
Represent clients in state and federal courts, aswell as in alternative dispute resolution forums such as mediationsand arbitrations. Prepare and present oral arguments, examinewitnesses, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients. 4.
LegalResearch and Writing:
Conduct thorough legal research and draftvarious legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs,pleadings, discovery requests, and responses. 5.
Trial Preparation:
Prepare for trials by conducting pre-trial investigations,gathering evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing trialstrategies. Assist with all aspects of trial preparation andcourtroom presentations. 6.
Client Counseling:
Provide strategiclegal advice and counseling to clients on commercial litigationmatters, including risk assessment, dispute resolution strategies,and potential outcomes. 7.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and supervisejunior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Provide guidanceand support to team members, fostering a collaborative andproductive work environment. 8.
Business Development:
Contribute tobusiness development efforts by networking with potential clients,attending industry events, and participating in marketinginitiatives to expand the firm’s client base.
Qualifications:
JurisDoctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membershipin good standing with the state bar association. 5-15 years ofsubstantial experience in commercial litigation, preferably with areputable law firm or in-house legal department. Proven trackrecord of successfully managing complex commercial litigationmatters from inception to resolution. Strong legal research,writing, and analytical skills.
