Role Overview:

This role involves managing Beekley Corporation’s contracts and coordinating intellectual property matters. You will interact regularly with various departments and our attorneys.

Responsibilities and Requirements Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required; a Juris Doctor is a plus.

Contract Management:

Experience in Contract management, including reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating contract terms & conditions based on company guidelines and best practices to protect the company’s best interests.

Liaison Duties:

Organize and lead quarterly meetings with outside counsel, setting the agenda and ensuring alignment on key matters.

Communication Skills:

Demonstrate high attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Collaboration:

Demonstrate the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and develop practical solutions that mitigate risks and align with business objectives.

Negotiation Skills:

Ability to balance relationship building, creativity in contract negotiations, and adherence to business rules and best practices.

IP Management:

Oversee Beekley Corporation’s intellectual property portfolio by maintaining and managing IP documentation.

IP Protection:

Investigate and address potential intellectual property infringements by drafting and issuing cease-and-desist letters.
