Job Details We’re looking to welcome an experiencedSenior Associate or Counsel to our business immigration andcompliance team. This position can be based anywhere in Connecticutwith occasional travel to New Haven.
What You’ll Do:
Handle a widerange of employment-based immigration matters, includingnonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-1/E-2) and immigrant (EB-1,EB-2, EB-3) visa petitions Independently assess visa eligibility,identify regulatory risks, and develop custom strategies forclients across industries Draft persuasive and complex filings,including RFE responses, PERM applications, and extraordinaryability petitions Communicate directly with clients on timelines,strategy, and case developments Conduct I-9, E-Verify, and visacompliance reviews, especially in connection with corporate M&Atransactions and government inspections Collaborate with colleagueswhile independently managing your own docket of time-sensitivematters Use immigration case management tools and track billablehours efficiently
What We’re Looking For:
A J.D. and admission toany U.S. state bar (Connecticut preferred) Extensive experience inbusiness immigration, with the ability to lead and execute complexcases Exceptional legal writing, organizational skills, andattention to detail Familiarity with immigration compliance, duediligence, and regulatory review A proactive, client-focusedapproach and the ability to prioritize across competing deadlinesInterested in hearing more?
