Litigation Attorney Confidential Gainesville, FL 32608 • Hybrid work

US IN-HOUSE ATTORNEY OVERVIEW

The In-House Attorney will be responsible to oversee all the legal aspects of our Firm, safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows law guidelines and provide legal advice to management about all relevant issues. Will conduct work with sound judgement, high standards of integrity, professional ethics and responsibility.

Salary Range:

$106,972.00- $122,974.00 p/y

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Negotiating, writing and executing agreements and contracts on behalf of the company Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights Offering counsel on a variety of legal issue Provide accurate and timely advise to executives within the company Working alongside other departments within the company• Specifying internal governance policies and regulatory monitor compliance Advising on contract status, legal risks, compliance and the legal liabilities associated with different deals Researching and anticipating unique risk factor and/or legal issues regardin decisions and operations that could impact the company Reviewing advertising and marketing materials to ensure that they are in compliance with legal requirements Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and external forces Prepares, organize and initiates civil litigation when needed Providing training to the company on legal topics Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active license to practice in Florida, minimum. Admitted to practice in Federal Court. Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate litigation, including first or second chair trial experience in federal court. (Preferred) Strong knowledge of commercial litigation, business torts, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex cases. Experience with securities litigation, class actions, or regulatory investigations. Background in representing public companies, financial institutions, or large corporations. Familiarity with electronic discovery platforms and case management tools.
