Salary:
$45,000-$60,000 + Full Benefits Our boutique business law firm (4 lawyers) seeks a highly capable, trustworthy, ethical, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide additional support to our Principal Lawyer in a professional, fast-paced environment. This full-time, in-office position is ideal for someone who combines technical excellence and organizational skill with honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and clear pride in their work. The successful candidate must be skilled in managing diverse office responsibilities, handling multiple forms of communication (telephone, facsimile, email, and text), and maintaining composure while working well under pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Principal Lawyer Draft, format, and proofread legal documents with expert-level Microsoft Word skills Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems (ProLaw) Assist with billing, timekeeping, and basic bookkeeping (video training provided) Handle communications via telephone, fax, email, and text messages with professionalism and accuracy Manage scheduling, calendars, and client coordination Interact courteously with clients, vendors, and colleagues Support general office operations and maintain a well-functioning work environment Balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
Qualifications:
