We are seeking anambitious and experienced Associate Attorney specializing inInsurance Defense for a Permanent position. The successfulcandidate will be part of our dynamic legal team, working closelywith our clients to provide expert legal advice and representationin all matters related to insurance defense. This includes personalinjury protection (PIP), premises liability, first/third-partyclaims, and litigation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court or before government agencies,presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants incivil litigation. Advise clients concerning business transactions,claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits,or legal rights and obligations. Interpret laws, rulings andregulations for individuals and businesses. Prepare and draft legaldocuments, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages,leases, and contracts. Gather evidence to formulate defense or toinitiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients andwitnesses to ascertain the facts of a case. Negotiate settlementsof civil disputes. Perform administrative and management functionsrelated to the practice of law. Act as agent, trustee, guardian, orexecutor for businesses or individuals. Present and summarize casesto judges and juries. Evaluate findings and develop strategies andarguments in preparation for presentation of cases. Supervise legalassistants.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from anaccredited law school. Must be an active member in good standingwith the Florida State Bar. Minimum 4 years of experience ininsurance defense litigation. Proven experience in personal injuryprotection (PIP), premises liability, first/third party claims, andlitigation. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills,capable of maintaining professional demeanor in high-stresssituations. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects andcases. Excellent negotiation skills. Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills. Proficient in legal research and writing.

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite andlegal research platforms. Ability to work independently and as partof a team. Strong commitment to client service and demonstratedability to manage and build client relationships. High level ofprofessionalism and ethical standards.
