Associate Attorney, Litigation Position Available In Broward, Florida

Associate Attorney, Litigation Kagan Law PLLC Davie, FL 33314 Kagan Law PLLC, a fast-growing law practice in Davie, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated attorney to join our Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act team. The attorney will identify, develop, and litigate cases against insurance carriers in matters involving Defense Base Act claims. The candidate will assist the managing attorney with cases from inception through settlement/trial, including preparing legal pleadings and motions, preparing litigation reports, ensuring all appropriate claims are leveraged to reach positive outcomes, and negotiating settlements. Must have strong communication, research, and writing skills. Must be a Florida Bar member in good standing. Must have excellent work ethic and positive attitude and be able to thrive in a high volume and fast-paced litigation environment. Experience with property damage is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

Admission to a US Bar with preference to a Florida license. Exerince with DBA claims is prefferd but not required. Experience with Personal Injury or Property damage claims is prefferd but not required. Highly organized with strong attention to detail Enthusiasm for practicing law. Positive attitude and commitment to excellence Familiarity with various legal documents Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work independently and efficiently.
