Responsibilities:

• Supervise administrative staff, paralegals, and law clerks
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court to argue motions during legalproceedings
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine casestrategies
• Manage a caseload of first-party property insurance claims frominception through resolution, including conducting detailed caseassessments and developing effective litigation strategies.
• Provide radical customer service experience to clients byproviding case updates, gathering necessary information, andoffering legal advice. Prepare and present case evaluations andlegal recommendations.
• Perform comprehensive legal research to support casepreparation and strategy. Draft pleadings, motions, discoveryrequests, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, including hearings,trials, and mediations. Argue motions and present evidence beforejudges and juries.
• Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel,insurance companies, and other relevant parties.

Developnegotiation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes forclients.

Qualifications:

• Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs(Westlaw and Lexis) required
• Successful completion of accredited law school with JurisDoctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
• Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
• Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
• 2-4 years of recent experience in First-Party PropertyInsurance required
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar Association required
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a law firm environment
• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal,and public speaking skills required
• Able to work independently while handling multiple files
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite is necessary
