The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, commercial transactions, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance. You will advise clients on a wide range of business matters, including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, lease contracts, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal counsel to businesses on day-to-day operations and strategic matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including partnership agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and licensing deals. Advise clients on entity formation, structuring, and corporate governance. Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business transactions. Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for commercial deals. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local business laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in business and corporate law and advise clients accordingly.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Florida Good standing with the Florida Bar 3+ years of experience in business or corporate law. Strong understanding of commercial and corporate transactions. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong legal research and writing abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with startups, venture capital, or private equity deals. Knowledge of intellectual property, employment law, or tax law as it relates to businesses. Book of business to bring with you
