Opportunity:
A reputable and growing Florida law firm is seeking a sharp and driven Business Litigation Attorney to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney who is looking to grow within a collaborative, client-focused, and high-performing litigation team.
The firm represents a wide range of businesses in complex litigation matters and is known for its strategic approach, attention to detail, and dedication to client success.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of commercial and business litigation matters from intake to resolution
Represent clients in disputes involving contracts, business torts, real estate, and partnership issues
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies
Maintain excellent communication with clients and provide timely updates on case progress
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
At least 2 years of experience in commercial or business litigation
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Courtroom experience is a plus
Ability to handle cases independently and work effectively as part of a team
