We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Attorney to join the Community Association Practice Group, located in our Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will excel in a professional and team-oriented environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The primary emphasis will be providing legal support to our condominium, cooperative and homeowners’ association clientele. Must share the firm’s commitment to its clients by being prompt, responsive and knowledgeable. Excellent academic credentials with superior research and writing skills required. While community association experience is preferred, a similar practice area experience is also acceptable.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and modifying contracts
• Interpreting and drafting amendments to governing documents
• Case law Research
• Drafting amendments to governing documents
• Client relations
• Reviewing community association issues and drafting legal opinions
• Preparing for and attending board and membership meetings

Education and Experience:

• Florida Bar Member
• Two – four years of experience: community association/HOA is preferred
• Successful candidates will also have excellent skills in the areas of client relations
