Compensation:

$65,000 – $80,000+

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do Draft and prepare family law pleadings, affidavits, subpoenas, pretrial orders, and motions Manage discovery and analyze records relevant to family law cases Conduct legal research to support motions, hearings, and trials Examine and prepare financial disclosures and statements Maintain organized and accessible case files Track and calculate deadlines to ensure timely filings Meet with clients to gather information, answer procedural question,s and provide excellent service Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish to support a diverse client base Utilize legal technology and case management systems effectively

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience specifically in Family Law Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English Strong attention to detail and deadline management Proactive and independent worker; eager to take initiative Team-oriented with flexibility and a collaborative mindset Proficient with law firm tech tools: Microsoft Office, Zoom, VoIP phones, case management software (e.g., Clio), Family Law Software preferred Comfortable with legal research databases and timekeeping systems Capable with basic office equipment (scanner, copier, printer) Must complete a 20 question written interview testing legal knowledge, detail orientation and communication skills What We Offer Competitive compensation : Starting at $65,000-$80,000+ (based on experience) Health insurance 401(k) with matching + profit sharing Cash Balance Plan Performance-based bonuses Collaborative, high-achieving, and supportive team culture Long-term career growth potential in a firm expanding rapidly Onsite role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL About Company Mayersohn Law Group, P.A. is a woman-owned law firm formed in 2000.
