We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to support our family law division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in family law, familiarity with discovery and compiling financial records, Florida e-filing and online scheduling and court management systems, with at least one year of relevant family law experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and support matters.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, notices, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Coordinate and prepare for trials, including organizing exhibits, scheduling depositions of witnesses, and preparing trial and hearing binders.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive client information.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law.
- Proficiency in discovery processes and trial preparation.
- Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with legal research tools and case management software, such as LexWorkplace, West Law, and Tabs3Connect is preferred.
