Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, representing plaintiffs in various types of litigation, including but not limited to personal injury, insurance disputes, employment law, and consumer protection cases. This role requires a strong understanding of civil litigation, exceptional advocacy skills, and a passion for fighting for the rights of individuals and businesses.
Responsibilities:
Remote role – attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
Represent plaintiffs in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation investigations and case development through trial and appeal.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Engage in discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
Prepare for and participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitration.
Advocate for clients in court, including arguing motions and representing clients at trial.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice throughout the litigation process.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
Stay current with developments in the law and apply innovative legal strategies to advance clients’ interests.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar in Florida.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with a focus on plaintiff representation.
Strong knowledge of civil procedure, rules of evidence, and trial advocacy.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
High level of professionalism, ethical standards, and commitment to client service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
