Do you want to be part of an innovative grassroots Veterans Advocacy program that is making a difference nationwide? We are seeking a full-time attorney with active membership in the Florida State Bar to join our team. If you are dedicated, highly skilled, and eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you! Position Summary The ideal candidate will have expertise in researching, drafting pleadings, negotiating, and litigating cases related to Housing/Landlord-Tenant law, Family Law, Public Benefits, and Veteran Benefits. While experience with veterans’ issues is preferred, it is not required. This role requires excellent oral and written advocacy skills, alongside a strong commitment to providing aggressive representation in court for indigent and veteran clients. Key Responsibilities Perform legal assessments and intakes.
Represent clients in court and manage cases effectively.
Mentor pro bono attorneys and offer counsel on family law and veteran matters.
Provide education to private and public entities on military/veteran issues and laws. Qualifications Active Florida State Bar membership (required).
Prior experience serving low-income, veterans, or marginalized communities is preferred but not mandatory.
