Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a Pro Bono Coordinator (PBC) . The PBC recruits private attorneys to provide pro bono legal services to individuals who qualify for our services and identifies and gathers those in need.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruit pro bono attorneys by establishing and maintaining relationships with local bar associations, law offices, attorneys, and corporate counsel Identify and gather clients in need by coordinating with local resources, businesses, churches, and organizations Develop and distribute promotional materials, brochures, flyers, mailings, and maintain data Travel around Collier County to recruit attorneys and identify individuals in need Assign cases to pro bono attorneys, provide necessary documentation for representation, and maintain contact to ensure rewarding experiences for both attorneys and clients Assist with resource development for program continuation and growth Input data and prepare reports for grants Work evening and weekend hours when necessary Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Member in good standing of the Florida Bar or a law graduate Excellent customer service and communication skills Substantial knowledge of Windows Office Knowledge of Spanish and/or Creole preferred Self-motivated and organized Bachelor’s Degree preferred Why Join Us?
