We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented JuniorAssociate General Counsel to join our legal team in Jacksonville,FL or hybrid. The team is also open to candidates remote in theSouth East. The successful candidate will play a critical role inproviding legal support and guidance on a wide range of contractualmatters, litigation management, ensuring compliance with relevantlaws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks for thecompany.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts andagreements. Provide legal advice and support to internal departments. Assist in developing and implementing contract managementpolicies and procedures. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws andregulations that may impact the company’s contractualobligations. Manage and collaborate with external legal counsel. Support senior legal staff with special projects and otherlegal matters as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state. 2-4 years of experience in a large law firm or in-housedepartment. Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills. Ability to manage litigation (review pleadings, andstrategy). Preparation of Board reports and minutes. Regular attendance at remote meetings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively ina fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to workcollaboratively with cross-functional teams.
PreferredQualifications:
Experience and knowledge of U.S. Securities laws and forms;ability to understand and deal with various regulatory environments(SEC, FINRA, FCA, MSA, etc.) and applicable investment laws andregulations required (FCPA, KYC, KYB, AMC, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr
