This is an excellent opportunity for an experiencedlitigator looking to take on a lead role in a busy andsophisticated practice.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate willhave several years of litigation experience with the ability tofirst-chair trials, handle depositions and mediationsindependently, and contribute meaningfully to complex casestrategy. Plaintiff-side experience is strongly preferred, andfamiliarity with construction defect litigation is a significantplus.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of a litigationcaseload, including first-chair responsibilities for trials andmediations Conduct and defend depositions Draft and argue motions,manage discovery, and engage in case strategy and trial prepCollaborate with partners and support staff to drive resultsMaintain strong client communication and uphold litigationtimelines
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in FloridaStrong litigation background with demonstrated first-chair trialexperience Experience with construction litigation or constructiondefect cases preferred Ability to work independently and within ateam-oriented environment No set billable requirement, though 1,800hours annually is encouraged
