Responsibilities:

• Defend client companies in workers compensationcases.
• Provide legal counsel and representation throughout allstages of litigation.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings,motions, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with supportstaff, medical professionals, and experts to build strong cases.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
• Negotiatesettlements and represent clients in court when necessary.
• Stayup-to-date with legal trends, regulations, and case law related toworkers’ compensation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degreefrom an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standingwith the State Bar.
• 2-5 years of experience specifically focusedon defending companies in workers’ compensation cases, generalliability a plus.
• Strong understanding of workers compensationlaws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attentionto detail.
• Effective negotiation, advocacy, and courtroompresentation skills.
