Real estate law firm is currently hiring an experienced Office Manager. The position is full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. This is a permanent role within the company that provides benefits after the successful completion of a 90 day probationary period. The law firm is focused on all aspects of real estate matters including litigation, contracts, title & escrow transactions and more. This is a professional law firm that is seeking a mature individual with management experience. Applicants must be willing to back up all administrative roles within the company including receptionist, file clerk, and administrative assistant. The Office Manager will supervise a small support staff; receptionist, clerks, and processors. The Office Manager will oversee a variety of tasks that include human resources, accounting/bookkeeping and some compliance. The Office Manager’s administrative duties include writing and posting of new job descriptions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews and verifying potential employee credentials. Set up employees on benefits, FMLA guidelines, answer employee questions regarding benefits and negotiate pricing with carriers annually. Update employee handbooks as needed. Order office supplies, track expense reports, and negotiate with vendors. Manage documents, contracts and communication with vendors, associates and business partners. Perform basic bookkeeping and payroll. Payroll system is through ADP. Bookkeeping entails accounts receivable and payables and submitting quarterly reports to CPA. The Office Manager must have prior bookkeeping or accounting experience. Individuals with a Degree in Accounting and Finance are strongly encouraged to apply. Assist with workflow process.
