Role:

The Associate Attorney will work alongside experienced litigators and paralegals to manage a caseload of probate, estate, and civil litigation matters. You will be responsible for drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, attending hearings, client communication, and contributing to strategy sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience and a clear growth path within a client-focused law firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all phases of litigation in probate and civil matters, including pleadings, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation Appear for hearings and case management conferences in state court Draft and review legal documents including petitions, complaints, answers, and motions Provide legal advice and guidance to clients with professionalism and empathy Participate in firm meetings, strategic planning, and training sessions Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to move cases forward efficiently

Qualifications:

Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar 0-5 years of experience (probate or litigation experience preferred, but not required) Strong writing and oral advocacy skills Ability to manage deadlines and a caseload with attention to detail Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and team-first attitude
