Job Description
Squire Patton Boggs is seeking a senior level Associate with six or more years of corporate transactional experience to be a part of its sophisticated and highly collaborative Financial Services MandA and capital markets practice.
The individual hired for this position will have an opportunity to assume significant responsibility in complex mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions and governance for key clients in the financial and technology sectors and be part of a growing local and global team. The candidate can expect to be involved with a variety of assignments and receive valuable hands-on experience across a range of disciplines, with genuine pathways for progression within the firm.

Responsibilities:
- Advise public and private companies in the financial and technology sectors and institutional investors therein (e.g., private equity) in all aspects of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, corporate governance and general business matters
- Transaction management and due diligence
- Assist in managing client relationships.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- U.S. Juris Doctor Degree
- Admitted to practice in a US State Bar and be in good standing;Admission to the State Bar of your office location is expected if not currently admitted.

Professional Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, securities transactions, and corporate governance matters
- Experience with, or a willingness to learn about the financial sector
