Job Description:

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a talented mid-senior level associate to join its premier national Health Care Practice Group in Tampa. Our Health Care Practice Group represents a wide range of clients, including physician practices, telemedicine companies, and numerous health care entities, along with venture and private equity investors focused on health care and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing legal advice and representation to health care clients on regulatory and transactional matters.
• Manage complex health care transactions, including issues related to federal and state health care regulations and their impact on day-to-day business operations.
• Draft and review sophisticated legal documents related to health care transactions.
• Work closely with senior partners and clients, fostering strong relationships with both.
• Train and mentor junior associates, fostering an environment of collaboration and learning.
• Actively participate in advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Health Care Practice Group.

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of health care regulatory and transactional experience (candidates with up to 8 years will be considered).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state health care regulations, including their impact on health care transactions.
• Proven experience in drafting complex legal documents.
• Ability to manage complex projects and legal matters.
• A dynamic and highly motivated attitude, with a strong work ethic and a positive approach to teamwork.
• Excellent academic credentials, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact directly with senior partners and clients.
• A JD from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) in which the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Florida Bar will be a condition of employment.
• AmLaw 100 experience preferred.
