Role:

A nationally recognized Health Care Practice Group is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate to join its Tampa office. The team represents a wide range of health care clients, including physician practices, telemedicine companies, health and life sciences businesses, and private equity investors.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent health care providers and related entities in regulatory and transactional matters. Advise on federal and state health care regulatory compliance issues, including fraud and abuse, HIPAA, licensing, and reimbursement. Draft and negotiate sophisticated contracts, transactional documents, and corporate governance documents. Assist with complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures within the health care industry. Manage projects and client matters independently while collaborating with senior attorneys. Mentor and support junior associates on the team. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Qualifications:

4-6 years of health care regulatory and transactional law experience (up to 8 years considered). Significant experience advising health-care focused clients on regulatory compliance and business transactions. Strong knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments and their impact on transactions. Exceptional drafting, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state Bar. Must be admitted to the Florida Bar, or be willing and able to obtain admission promptly.
