The ideal candidate will have at least four years’ litigation experience, and possess excellent communication, collaboration, and client relations skills. Our successful associate attorneys have exceptional legal research and writing skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation for our clients. Duties Represent clients in litigation matters across various legal fields including insurance defense, construction, real estate, contract disputes and other litigated matters. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with accuracy and attention to detail. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests. Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions as necessary. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the cases being handled. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals and support staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive case management. Provide clients with clear communication regarding case progress and legal options available to them. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A member of the Florida Bar, in good standing. Proven experience in litigation Strong skills in legal research and writing with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts in clear, simple language. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements or outcomes in litigation matters. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
