DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drafting legal documents including but not limited to, discovery requests and responses, initial documents, legal memorandums, and notices. Summarizing discovery documents received. Calendar and meet deadlines. Speak with clients, draft, and answer discovery questions. Check all discovery prior to filing. Assist with financial discovery, including organizing, analyzing, preparing equitable distribution values, and preparing child support calculations. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. Assist with billing and invoicing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a paralegal. Paralegal certification, Florida Registered Paralegal, and/or paralegal degree required. Must be meticulous, professional, a self-starter, a fast learner, willing to grow, and self-sufficient. Personality, character, intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations. Individuals who are not self-starters, fast learners, or negative will not succeed in this position and should not apply. Individuals who cannot thrive in a fast paced environment will not succeed in this position. Driven, motivated, professional, and loyal individuals who can handle feedback will have a high likelihood of success and growth with this firm. Customer service is required and is a crucial part of this job. Must be able to deliver high-quality white glove service to clients. Stuart, FL 34994: Reliable form of transportation necessary.

Must be fully proficient in:

Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Adobe Pro, Florida Courts E-Filing Portal System, Clio and/or other programs, and understand judicial procedures required by each individual judge.
