Associate Attorney

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation (including pre-litigation), immigration law , and trust/estate matters .

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of civil litigation and pre-litigation , including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court appearances Manage immigration cases , including family-based petitions, employment-based matters, waivers, and naturalization Draft, review, and execute trust and estate planning documents (e.g., wills, revocable/irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, etc.) Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and other legal documents Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Assist with case strategy development and implementation Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings as needed Assist in the preparation of cases for trial and participate in court appearances Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve successful case outcomes Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida 2-5 years of relevant experience in civil litigation, immigration, and/or trusts and estates Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload

Preferred Skills:

Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a MUST Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, etc.) Courtroom and client-facing experience
