We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Bankruptcy Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing comprehensive legal solutions to our clients experiencing financial difficulties, with a strong focus on bankruptcy law and creditor’s rights. This role is pivotal in navigating complex legal matters and ensuring the best outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing and filing bankruptcy petitions and related documents
Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy and creditor’s rights issues
Draft legal motions and documents for Chapter 11 proceedings
Participate in mediations and negotiations on behalf of clients
Prepare for and attend depositions and court hearings
Provide support in commercial and bankruptcy litigation matters
Advise clients on fiduciary duties and the benefits of creditors in bankruptcy cases
Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for avoidance actions Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in Florida
Experience in bankruptcy law, particularly Chapter 11
Strong understanding of creditor’s rights
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals
Experience in mediation and litigation is a plus
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
