Candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar and be in good standing. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented litigator to grow in a dynamic, hands-on environment as part of a team led by a Partner who has extensive experience in the area of construction litigation and who have been voted Construction Lawyers of the Year on numerous occasions. Over the past 40 years, DRBDC built a reputation for providing high quality legal representation tailored to the unique needs of architects/engineers throughout Florida. The right candidate will work on complex legal challenges and high-profile cases. Attorney will be given their own case load to manage all aspects of litigation with direct collaboration from the Partner. Key duties include but are not limited to drafting pleadings, legal research, discovery, taking and attending depositions, hearings, site inspections, mediations, trial preparation and attendance at trials. The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years’ experience in Civil Litigation ( preferably insurance defense/construction defects ); must exhibit excellent writing and verbal skills; be independent thinkers, self-starters; able to prioritize, meet deadlines and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team focused on attention to detail with quality being paramount.
