Valencia & Torres Law, a reputable and fast-growing personal injury law firm based in Doral, Florida, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our in-office legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate legal advocate who can manage a high-volume caseload from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will work alongside a supportive and experienced legal staff, helping injured clients pursue justice and fair compensation through pre-suit, litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy. Role:

As an Associate Attorney, you’ll represent clients in legal proceedings, draft and argue motions, conduct depositions and mediations, and provide legal guidance throughout the lifecycle of a personal injury claim. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong litigation skills, and is committed to delivering excellent client service.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court, mediations, depositions, and before government agencies Handle personal injury cases from initial intake to resolution Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery responses, and demand letters Negotiate settlements and handle dispute resolutions Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical professionals, and witnesses Conduct legal research and gather relevant evidence, including medical records and insurance policies Maintain accurate records and updates in the case management system Collaborate with and manage legal support staff when necessary

Required Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law in Florida and an active member of the Florida Bar Minimum 1 year of personal injury experience Proficient in motion practice, depositions, and mediations Ability to manage a case from start to finish independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent negotiation and client relationship-building skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a team environment Proficient with Microsoft Office and legal management tools In-office availability in Doral, FL, is required

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years of personal injury litigation experience Familiarity with civil litigation, wrongful death, and Florida personal injury law Management experience with legal assistants or case staff Strong legal research and analytical writing skills The ability to generate or help generate new business is a plus
