Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to handle plaintiff litigation cases with the potential for career growth into partnership. The position includes competitive compensation, benefits, and the chance to work on complex cases requiring travel within the Southeast region. 5-10 years’ experience. MUST have extensive litigation experience, Florida Barred and be motivated to eventually take over the department. Will consider plaintiff and/or defense. Responsibilities:
- Lead plaintiff litigation cases as first chair, ensuring high-quality representation and advocacy.
- Manage case preparation, including drafting legal briefs, conducting research, and coordinating documentation.
- Utilize case management software and tools to organize and track case progress effectively.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings with focus and precision.
- Collaborate with clients to address legal complaints, claims, and defense litigation needs.
- Travel within the Southeast region as required to represent clients and attend court proceedings.
- Oversee document management processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Provide legal guidance on civil and criminal litigation matters, maintaining ethical conduct and confidentiality.
- Develop strategies for claim administration and consumer-related legal cases.
- Mentor associates at the entry level and contribute to the growth and development of the legal team. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plaintiff litigation, with first chair trial experience.
- Proficiency in legal tools such as 3M, Adobe Acrobat, case management software, and document management systems.
- Strong expertise in civil, criminal, and defense litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to handle claim administration and consumer-related legal issues.
- Skilled in drafting legal briefs, managing complaints, and preparing case documentation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with clients and other legal professionals.
- Willingness to travel within the Southeast region for court appearances and client meetings.
- Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality in all legal matters.
