Attorney/Lawyer Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our labor and employment practice in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in litigation, particularly in employment law, and demonstrate the ability to handle complex cases in both federal and state courts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage single and multi-plaintiff litigation cases in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration.
• Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and other essential court filings.
• Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal advice and ensure their interests are effectively represented.
• Oversee case management processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and timelines.
• Utilize document management systems to organize and maintain case files efficiently.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions and hearings, presenting arguments and evidence effectively.
• Handle complaint administration and resolution strategies for labor and employment-related disputes.
• Work with internal teams to ensure seamless case handling and coordination.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethics while meeting annual billable hour requirements. Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a preference for employment law expertise.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Acrobat, document management systems, and case management software.
• Strong skills in legal briefing and civil litigation processes.
• Familiarity with complaint handling and claims administration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal cases independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Ability to meet an annual billable hour requirement of 1,850 hours.
