On-Site Starting Salary:
$125,000+ (commensurate with experience) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney with a passion for litigation and construction law to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment located in Miami’s vibrant Wynwood neighborhood. The ideal candidate will have courtroom and deposition experience, strong legal research and writing skills, and a proactive, self-starting attitude. Experience with Florida Statute Chapter 558 and construction defect claims is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of litigation, from case assessment and strategy development to discovery, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and memoranda.
- Analyze construction contracts and defect claims, including under Chapter 558 of the Florida Statutes.
- Participate in and conduct depositions, court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Provide bilingual support in Spanish, when applicable.
- Collaborate closely with other attorneys and staff to achieve successful client outcomes.
- Stay current with updates in construction law, litigation procedures, and relevant regulations. Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- 5-7 years of litigation experience, with significant courtroom and deposition exposure.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and in good standing.
- Strong understanding of Florida Statute Chapter 558 procedures for construction defect claims.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
