Job Description
Bressler, Amery & Ross, a dynamic and growing national law firm, seeks a Financial Institutions Litigation Associate Attorney to join our Florida Financial Institutions Practice Group in South Florida.
Job responsibilities include:
Representation of financial institutions in a broad range of securities and other litigation, including FINRA arbitrations. Develop case strategy, draft documents, handle discovery, attend hearings and participate in trial preparation and trial. Promptly communicate with and advise client on status and issues Work as an integrated member of the Florida team and with lawyers residing in various firm offices.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Education:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. A member in good standing and licensed to practice law in the State of FL is required; other bar admissions are a plus. 3 – 5 years of substantive financial institutions litigation at a law firm or in-house legal department of a financial services company OR 3-5 years of commercial litigation/arbitration experience. Must be able to concisely and accurately communicate, both orally and in writing, with principals, colleagues, and clients. Able to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines. Be a team player and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships.
