Immigration Attorney Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Immigration Attorney Ruffin-Alvarez Law Miami, FL 33122 Ruffin-Alvarez Law, a fast-paced Plaintiff personal injury firm, is looking to add a new practice area and to hire an experienced immigration attorney to work on new cases from inception. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. immigration law. Key Responsibilities

• Meet with potential new clients
• Train and supervise staff
• Provide legal counsel and representation for individuals and businesses in immigration-related cases.
• Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for visas, green cards, naturalization, and other immigration benefits.
• Represent clients in hearings before immigration courts.
• Review and analyze denial decisions.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
• Work with clients to gather necessary evidence and documentation for case submissions.
• Advise clients on compliance with immigration regulations and employment eligibility.
• Handle appeals and waivers as needed.
• Perform attorney-level review and edits of submissions to USCIS.
• Market the law firm’s services Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 3+ years of experience practicing immigration law preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws, including family-based and employment-based petitions, removal defense, and humanitarian relief.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
