Job Description
This position is fully on site, located near the Doral area, for a publicly traded company. The ideal candidate will have in corporate- experience with securities and corporate governance experience. Responsibilities Advise on securities law compliance, corporate governance, and other legal matters that affect the company Prepare and review SEC filings, offering materials, and other legal documents Oversee corporate governance, including board and committee support, and manage outside counsel relationships
Requirements:
7+ years of corporate in-house experience Prior experience practicing in the corporate legal department of a public company Prior SEC, securities, and corporate governance experience, including supporting corporate board and secretary work Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills Licensed to practice law. Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
