Compensation:
$120,000 – $140,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff Take responsibility for administrative staff relating to client invoicing/billing records, setting up meetings with clients and completing tasks Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Qualifications:
Able to work independently while handling multiple files Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association – active member preferred Association Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed Minimum 7+ years of Family Law litigation About Company
