Compensation:
$95,000 – $110,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
Qualifications:
Work independently while handling a heavy caseload Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis) Must be a member of The Florida Bar in good standing.
