Personal Injury Associate
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Personal Injury Associate in Miami Lakes, Florida, United States. As a Personal Injury Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete progression of personal injury cases, with a focus on serious and catastrophic injury matters. Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth interviews with potential litigation clients and witnesses
- Ensuring comprehensive management of case files and formulating litigation strategies
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Working with insurance companies to negotiate favorable outcomes
- Preparing and participating in mediations and settlement discussions
- Interviewing witnesses and conducting depositions, as well as preparing clients for their depositions
- Offering legal counsel to clients throughout the litigation process
- Assisting in trial preparation and representation as required
- Collaborating with supervising attorneys to ensure efficient case management and results-focused litigation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the legal industry, preferably in personal injury law
- Strong knowledge of accounting software systems
- Familiarity with ADP – Financial Services is required
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage and analyze client relationships
- Experience with Crystal Reports is a plus
- Understanding of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning is desirable
- Experience with About Time software is beneficial
- Capability to perform various accounting functions
- Proven experience in auditing procedures
- Expertise in claim administration
- Excellent communication skills
- Specialization in personal injury law is mandatory
